Tesco Central Europe roped us with a task of producing a quirky commercial for promoting their Lighting deals on Tesco Clubcard across their 3 Markets (Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia).

The ask was simple. We had to look at our British contemporaries and take the UK Tesco campaign and adapt it for Central Europe. But the ask wasn’t as simple as it looked because it meant adapting the wordmarks, logo placements, aesthetic, styling, everything.

But we did develop a solution to it and came up with an amazing identity which was inspired by the British market but still translated great for the Central European region – both figuratively and literally.

And after that, it was just a matter of executing the film. The results of which, are below

The Ask

We chose to draw inspiration from the structured and timeless appeal of brick layouts, leveraging this inspiration to craft a fresh and resilient design system.

This innovative design system has now evolved into a comprehensive visual framework that serves as a tangible manifestation of the reimagined layouts for Snap Case Studies. Through its meticulous implementation, this design system bestows upon these layouts not only a heightened sense of durability and sophistication but also an unmistakable and engaging character that captivates the viewer’s attention.
